Editorial: Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Casco\/ Cuenca Church<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The week of February 17 to 24, 2024 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception<\/a> of Cuenca was marked by the visit of the Gospel Book<\/a>, sacred symbol of the 53rd International Eucharistic Congress (CEI 2024).<\/p>\n

In an atmosphere of deep reflection and joy, the Catholic community of Cuenca united in prayer. Priests from the Vicariate of the western zone and faithful from Chaucha, Estero Piedras, Shumiral, Molleturo, Ponce Enr\u00edquez and Carmen de Pijil\u00ed attended this celebration. The occasion was even more special as it coincided with the festival of consecrated life and the beginning of Bible Week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El P. Rigoberto Jara, Vicario Occidental, en una homil\u00eda llena de profundidad espiritual, record\u00f3 la importancia de reconocer la presencia de Dios en los m\u00e1s necesitados.<\/span> “El que comparte los dolores y pobrezas de los necesitados, encuentra la mirada de Dios”<\/b>, expres\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durante la semana, los sacerdotes de la Vicar\u00eda Urbana continuaron con las celebraciones. La homil\u00eda reson\u00f3 con un mensaje claro:<\/span> “Nunca m\u00e1s sacrificios del hombre, pues Cristo hizo el gran sacrificio con su muerte para salvar a la humanidad”.<\/b><\/p>\n

Asimismo, fue el turno de la Vicar\u00eda Suburbana de la Arquidi\u00f3cesis de Cuenca. El P. Juan Pablo Orellana, Vicario Suburbano, reflexion\u00f3 sobre el camino que est\u00e1 siguiendo la sociedad y el mundo, instando a los presentes a analizar sus propias vidas y fe. <\/span>“\u00bfEstamos orient\u00e1ndonos a la voluntad de Dios, o nos estamos alejando de \u00c9l?”,<\/b> sostuvo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finalmente, la Vicar\u00eda Oriental se uni\u00f3 en la despedida del Evangeliario. Monse\u00f1or Fernando Ortega, Obispo Auxiliar de la Arquidi\u00f3cesis de Cuenca, presidi\u00f3 la emotiva Eucarist\u00eda, instando a la comunidad a comprometerse con el Evangelio y fomentar un camino de fe y oraci\u00f3n profunda. El P. Cl\u00e9ver Pa\u00f1i, Vicario Oriental, <\/span>record\u00f3 la importancia de hacer realidad el lema del CEI 2024 “Fraternidad para sanar el mundo”, llamando a la reconciliaci\u00f3n y la b\u00fasqueda de la paz desde el amor de Dios.<\/b><\/p>\n

La visita del Evangeliario fue un momento de espiritualidad y reflexi\u00f3n para la comunidad cat\u00f3lica de Cuenca, record\u00e1ndonos la importancia de estar siempre atentos a la voz de Dios en nuestras vidas.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
