{"id":17333,"date":"2024-06-05T17:14:46","date_gmt":"2024-06-05T22:14:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iec2024.ec\/formando-corazones-de-fraternidad-en-el-mundo-educativo\/"},"modified":"2024-06-18T16:06:08","modified_gmt":"2024-06-18T21:06:08","slug":"formando-corazones-de-fraternidad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iec2024.ec\/en\/formando-corazones-de-fraternidad\/","title":{"rendered":"Forming hearts of brotherhood in the educational world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Cuenca, June 5, 2024<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Editor: Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Casco<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a joint effort to promote the importance of fraternity and the Eucharist, rectors, religion teachers, nuns and representatives of the Student Counseling Department of the Catholic and fiscomisional educational units of the provinces of Azuay and Ca\u00f1ar met at the Fiscomisional Educational Unit Sister Teresa Vals\u00e9, from the city of Cuenca.<\/p>\n<p>This event promoted by the IEC 2024 Caravan of Fraternity is an opportunity to strengthen ties in the educational world to replicate the message in children and young people.<\/p>\n<p>Patricia Cedillo, rector of the San Jos\u00e9 de la Salle Educational Unit in Cuenca, shared her vision on the impact of fraternity in education: \u201cOne of the fundamental values \u200b\u200bis service and dedication to the students and our community, and to the environment that surrounds us.<\/p>\n<p>Cristian Calle Sarmiento, teacher at the \u201cLa Asunci\u00f3n de Cuenca\u201d Private Educational Unit, maintained that in current times, pastoral agents must respond to a divided society, disintegrated families and weakened community spaces. He indicated that as a pastoral and teaching person, he has the opportunity to serve. \u00abThe great challenge is how to generate communities of life. Bring fraternity through actions and make our spaces communities of life between students, teachers and families. That is, a comprehensive educational formation being a community of life.<\/p>\n<p>During the day, the members of the Caravan, made up of R\u00f3mulo L\u00f3pez, president of the Confedec; P. Livingston Olivares, president of the IEC 2024 Communication Commission; and his communication team made up of Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Casco, Adriana Naranjo and Pa\u00fal Lami\u00f1a, socialized the message of fraternity and Eucharist.
