{"id":21093,"date":"2024-09-02T23:00:20","date_gmt":"2024-09-03T04:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iec2024.ec\/congreso-eucaristico-se-vive-en-quito\/"},"modified":"2024-09-04T16:01:50","modified_gmt":"2024-09-04T21:01:50","slug":"congreso-eucaristico-se-vive-en-quito","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iec2024.ec\/en\/congreso-eucaristico-se-vive-en-quito\/","title":{"rendered":"The International Eucharistic Congress is being lived and felt in Quito."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"flex-shrink-0 flex flex-col relative items-end\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"pt-0\">\n<div class=\"gizmo-bot-avatar flex h-8 w-8 items-center justify-center overflow-hidden rounded-full\">\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\">The city of Quito is once again becoming a Eucharistic city, just days before the start of the Theological Symposium and a week away from the 53rd International Eucharistic Congress &#8220;Fraternity to Heal the World.&#8221; On Monday, September 2nd, the official delegation from the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses arrived in Quito, where they were welcomed at the Antonio Jos\u00e9 de Sucre International Airport by the Archbishop of Quito and Primate of Ecuador, Monsignor Alfredo Jos\u00e9 Espinoza Mateus, SDB.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"group\/conversation-turn relative flex w-full min-w-0 flex-col agent-turn\">\n<div class=\"flex-col gap-1 md:gap-3\">\n<div class=\"flex max-w-full flex-col flex-grow\">\n<div class=\"min-h-[20px] text-message flex w-full flex-col items-end gap-2 break-words [.text-message+&amp;]:mt-5 overflow-x-auto whitespace-normal\" dir=\"auto\" data-message-author-role=\"assistant\" data-message-id=\"5018b128-6197-4b1e-a483-f68d169a5400\">\n<div class=\"flex w-full flex-col gap-1 empty:hidden first:pt-[3px]\">\n<div class=\"markdown prose w-full break-words dark:prose-invert light\">\n<p>The Vatican delegation includes Father Corrado Maggioni, S.M.M., President of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses; Father Vittore Boccardi, S.S.S.; Dr. Francesco del Castello; and Father Gonzalo Guzm\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, the first international delegation expressed their satisfaction in being able to participate in both ecclesial events, where the faith and devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist will be fully lived out in an atmosphere of fraternal unity within the Universal Church.<\/p>\n<p>The Theological Symposium will take place from September 4th to 7th at the Cultural Center of the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, on the main campus in Quito.
