Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Eucharistic adoration is a moment of intimacy, trust and friendship with God.

In those moments of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, we remember that his presence is the fruit of the love that he has for us.

This Tradition began in the 13th century in France with perpetual adoration. That is to say, being with the Lord all the time and among people or groups that cover each other to worship the Lord who is exposed in the Custody, without leaving him alone.

This is logical, and although early Christians only lived through the breaking of bread, we have gone deeper and deeper with the Holy Mass and that true presence of Jesus Christ in the Tabernacle.

This manifestation of love is already incorporated into the hearts of Christians to accompany them as long as possible and to be able to express all the affection that we carry within.

Can you see with the eyes of faith, gratitude, dedication, charity this madness of Love?; How can we do the same in our daily lives?

“I was entering the church for Holy Hour. Him: “What your little visit every day is worth, you will see better when you are There. May you never lack. And let it be natural and sweet to you, because if so your merit will grow. You already know that I refuse to force wills; and this respect of Mine for your will is another form of Love.” He and I by Gabrielle Bossis – The Feeling of the Heart No. 21 Eucharist, 888/
